In store at the AMARC 'Boneyard' this Sherpa was last operated by the 412th Test wing out of Edwards AFB, CA. She was retired 23rd December 1997 and left for the civil register on 16th May 2000.
This C-23A Sherpa was on static display at the 1989 International Air Tattoo. She was operated by the 10th MAS out of Zweibrucken and was named 'Rhein Main'. She went on to the civil register as N260AG.
Soon to be retired, this Alaska National Guard Sherpa sits on the tarmac in front of the Clay Lacy terminal on the King County International Airport during a brief stop-over as part of a training mission.
