Last operated out of NAS Brunswick, this HU-16C arrived in store on 27th July 1967. She was later sold and went onto the civil register as N7028C. In 2013 her remains were stored in a scrapyard adjacent to Davis-Monthan AFB.

One of my favourite 'through the fence' photos at the Specialised Aircraft yard at Tucson in May 2008, this shot catches five Grumman Albatross aircraft in various stages of preservation.

This Grumman Albatross appears to be HU-16C Bu.No 137924 now civil register N7028C, she entered MASDC July 1967, last operated by the USN out of NAS Brunswick. Believed scrapped a year after this photo taken.
