Back to 26th June 1988 and my first Belgian airshow at Chievres. This was an RAF Phantom FGR.2 XV489 marked as 43 Sqn 'AU' based at RAF Leuchars, sadly she has since been scrapped. Her underwing fuel tank is interesting.
