Unfortunately not what I would call a "preserved aircraft", this PBY has sat out at the Ephrata airport for at least the last six years, deteriorating more and more each time I see it. It was featured in the movie Always w/John Goodman & Richard Dryfuss.

Here she is almost exactly two years after the last time I took a shot at her. Not only is this the PBY that was in Always, but they actually filmed the movie on location here in Ephrata. During WWII the airport was a B-17 training base.
