The second "Flying Tank" in the world! During an attack of an enemy airfield this aircraft were badly hit by anti-aircraft artellery and a 109 and was forced to managed an emergency landing on the frozen lake Krivce, where it soon sank in November 1943.
H-307 is former USAAF P-51K-10NT 44-12125 but has also parts from other P-51's as well as a set of wheels from an AT-16. '412125' saw wartime service with the 82nd FS, 78th FG at Duxford. The H-307 of the NEIAF was a P-51D, ex USAAF 44-12756.
