Had a meeting with this C-47 while leaving Reykjavík Airport for England on the way to the 70th anniversary celebrations of D-day on June 5/6. Caught an almost full prop disc at 1/60 seconds.

I had this opportunity to photograph all three of the ICG Super Pumas from a hilltop outside Reykjavik. I was put there by the first of them and then they came by.

Taken from the top of a mountain in the vicinity of Reykjavík, which can be seen in the mist in the background. The crew landed and let me out, and then did their thing in the slopes of the mountain. Great training and a photo opportunity costing nothing.

Stopping in Reykjavík on its way to England. Sitting in the rain and waiting for clear weather. It was then based at Duxford from 1982 to 1993 when it was shipped to the USA. It was noted at the Tillamook Air Museum, OR in 2008 at least.
