Sad news from the great white north.... Last week an F-22 Raptor belonging to 3rd Wing's 525th Fighter Squadron out of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) crashed while on a nighttime training mission, killing its pilot.
Prayers and condolences to the pilot's family and all of 3rd Wing and Elmendorf in coping with this tragedy, which came on the heels of the C-17 crash back in July. Here's a link to Elmendorf's press release: http://www.jber.af.mil/news/story.asp?id=123231774 My soul is in the sky. |

Oh no. Really sad to hear of another Raptor and pilot lost. My condolences to the family. May he rest in peace.
