We've come to a point where we can add a few new members to the crew. This is your chance to be rich and famous and help out a site that you are passionate about (maybe not that rich, just as rich as you are now ). We all know that airfighters.com would grind to a halt were it not for the photo screeners, content editors, and database editors. They provide an immeasurable service that we're all greatly indebted to. So, with that said, we have the following positions available:

Database Editor
We need a new database editor to help out John. As a Database Editor you would look up reg #s and construction numbers that may not be easy to find and make them as uniform as possible if other entries exist already. Also, you would play a big role in deciding actual aircraft designations and making the appropriate changes. You'll have many tools at your disposal to change all aircraft types at once, make corrections site-wide and to move one set of photos to another aircraft type for commonality reasons. This position requires a good deal of aircraft and different type knowledge.

Content Editors
We have several positions available for this task. As a Content Editor your job would be to enter the aircraft data and specifications for the hundreds that are still left. Filling out this data activates the "Info" link seen on the search results page. All the text is entered into a page and published when you feel you have gathered enough information about the exact aircraft type you are working on. This is a great way to learn about aircraft and the differences among the different sub-types.

Photo Screener
We currently have two photo screeners slots open to deal with the increase in uploads as the site continues to grow and to be able to turn around photos as quickly as possible. To qualify, you must have several dozen high-quality photos in the database already. We also look for consistency in the uploads and how much attention is given to the data on the uploads. I must admit, this is the position we are going to be most picky about, but you get to join an elite group that gets to see ALL the photos uploaded.
