Hi all,
I wanted to ask everyone for a big favor as far as helping to promote the site. It has been about six months since we went live, and as you can see so far, we have over 8000 photos and 600 members. A great accomplishment I think for the amount of time, but I know we can do better.

If you love the site, and you must, otherwise you wouldn't be here, please add "www.airfighters.com" to your signature in Forum posts of any other site you might be a member of. If you can link it, then even better. This is a great and subtle way to get others to notice the site without really advertising it. Also, please mention the site or insert a link to relevant photos in any pertaining discussions. A link to a photo or to another page can help out with the topic as well and might provide info for someone in need.

If you have a website, blog of any kind, we offer several ways to link to the site and photos. Not just to the main page, but also the photos, certain types of photos, different formats, etc. etc. Please see this page: http://www.airfighters.com/view.php?v=photo_links for more info. If you need help creating links to any type of photos, please let me know. I'd be more than happy to help. In return, you can add a link to your site or blog in our links section. Together, we can make airfighters the best military aircraft photo site there is. Please do what you can and thanks for your help.

Hey guys, new around here!

I took the liberty of using the header of the website, as a banner to put in mine! Please let me know if it´s a problem!

You can check it here:
http://www.mirageargentina.com.ar/
It´s a site dedicated to Argentineans Mirages and sorry... but it´s in spanish!

If the banner don´t show right the way, just hit F5 on your keyboard. Since it´s compleatly aleatory, will show eventually!

Thx

Santiago

PS: GREAT SITE!! Can´t wait to start uploading pictures!

Hi Santiago,
Thanks for the link. Yes, it's ok to use that banner. You can find more here that stand out a bit more: http://www.airfighters.com/view.php?v=link_to_us and you can insert the individual photos in your site by following the directions here: http://www.airfighters.com/view.php?v=photo_links

Both of these links are in the footer of every page. Thanks again, and I'm glad you like the site. :wink

I`ve set the link in my Signature in several forums. I`ll also set the banner to the site I`m currently building with a friend of mine.
The site will be about military aviation as well, it will tell some background information about several types of military aircraft. It won`t have such a large Picture Database like airfighters.
I hope it will be ok for you?

F-14 Tomcat 4-ever!:)
