Does anyone have any news on this Strike/Fighter Squadron? Assigned to carrier USS Eisenhower and I have not heard anything about the squadron since they arrived back from a deployment in May 2007.

What kind of news were you after?

I know they've cleaned up with the awards. They've got about five or six IIRC MUTHA, Battle E, Golden Wrench, to name three. As for IKE, she took part in JTFEX 07-2 (with CVW-7 embarked and alongside CVN-75/CVW-3) in July and earlier this month was somewhere off the Eastern Seaboard for CARQUALS with new aircrew.

Regards,

Robin

Just trying to determine if they are being reassigned or reoutfitted or what.....no news on the squadron either on the Navy website of the Eisenhower website. I know the Eisenhower is deployed for Carrier Qualifications but it does not appear that the squadron is on board.

VFA-103 aren't embarked on IKE - the CARQUALS were/are for the VT squadrons.
AFAIK, they're staying as an F/A-18F unit as part of CVW-7.

Regards,

Robin
