Hello all

I recently had the opportunity for a day cruise aboard the USS Essex (LHD-2) and took several photos while on board. I'm wondering how to properly label them when I am submitting them for review here. We were at sea, but not in international airspace or anything, having never gone more than a few miles from shore, and having always been in the Puget Sound close to the Port of Seattle. Should I file them in the "carrier deck" section, and should I say something to the effect of "Off Airport - Seattle" when I submit them? I've submitted a few already, and this is what I have done, but I can go back and edit them if you wish me to do something different.

Here's one example of what I am talking about. This was taken while we were out at sea, from the bridge of the Essex.

Thank you for your guidance.

Yes, Off-Airport - Seattle would be correct. If it's on an aircraft carrier, it belongs in the Carrier Decks category, and of course Helicopters, in this case.

This is the oldest I've ever been.

As in this case this aircraft(H-60) is tied-down in position using chains. Or it is spotted for flight operations.
