Hello all

First, let me say that what I'm about to say is a rare occurance, and really does not "bother" me, so much as raises my curiosity. I've got two photos in the queue right now, with another one that was rejected and fixed, and have been in there for just about a week now, and I was wondering why it was taking "so long" (As if a week were really such a long, long time to wait on such a trivial matter) to be accepted or rejected. Is this because they are borderline iffy, and there is a voting process on allowing them or not? Or are they bad, and you just have not rejected them yet? Or are they okay, and you have not accepted them yet? Or have you just been busy and have not gotten to them yet?

As you (hopefully) can tell from the tone of this post, It is not really a big deal one way or another. The two warbird pics are not the greatest, they are just the best out of the ones I got that day, so if they are "reject-able", it is not going to hurt my feelings...I was jus curious as to why it was taking longer than normal to get a response on them.

Hi Aaron,

I'm not a screener but it's quite normal that sometimes we have to wait longer for the screening process. Maybee some of the Screeners have also holidays sometimes and then the queue is taking longer. And sometimes some pictures where discussed also, I think. I had lately one who have taken nearly a month before appearing on the site. So you are still on a fast track there

Have you already read this Thread here ? http://www.airfighters.com/forums.php?m=posts&q=1040

Muuuuhhh - welcome in the land of milk and chocolate

Hi Aaron,
You are quite right raising this question, as it points out we'd better made an announcement:
As a matter of fact the situation is quite simple: we are all in the holiday season. The result is an influx of pictures and absence of screeners indeed..
So we do ask you for some more patience to have the pictures screened.

Trust you will understand.

Best regards,
Joop
