Hi !
Every day i`m asking myself why users put a watermark on their picture.....right in the middle of the aircraft! They work on a good photo at the airport, then they give all the best to optimize the image with the optimizing tool, and after that they load it up and kill the beauty with a watermark.... ...I cant´t understand.... The answer is very simple I think. These photographers try to avoid, that their pictures get copied (stolen) by some bad people. Unfortunately we have to many people around, that will do so. I had to make this experience. Someone copied two pictures of mine, cut my copyright and placed the pictures on another website... I think this is the reason why I (and some other photographers) place the watermark in the picture and not to the margin. You understand........?? Martin I wish back the good old times, when a picture was a picture and not only bits and bytes and when the people knew the meaning of the word respect. Respect is a very rare thing in our days… |

OK, so we all have cons and pros for watermarking. I was initiated to write the topic because I found a great picture of an aircraft with nice painting scheme that was killed by the watermark...
