The 46th Wing, the Air Combat Command (MACOM), and the Public Affairs Office of the Spanish Air Force are organizing a spotter's day on April the 24th (*), in order to offer professional and amateur photographers, who love aviation, the opportunity to see and take pictures of all the combat aircraft that are taking part in the Dissimilar Air Combar Training Campaign (DACT) 2012 that is going to be held at Gando Air Base (Gran Canaria, Canary Islands).

Those photographers wishing to attend must follow the instructions that can be found in the following link:

http://www.thefightercommunity.com/Web/DACT_SPOTTERS_ENG.htm

It must be taken into account that the number of registrations is limited, the last day to submit your registration is 10th April.

The aircraft participating in this exercise include French Air Force Mirage-2000C, Spanish Air Force EF-18, Eurofighter Typhoon and Mirage F-1, Spanish Navy AV-8B Harrier II and a NATO AWACS E-3 Sentry.

The DACT (Dissimilar Air Combat Training) Campaign is developed and coordinated by the Spanish Air Force combat Comand. The main goal of this exercice is the advanced training of fighter pilots in air combat tactics by using mock up air combats with dissimilar fighter.
