Due to the closure of Emmen and Meiringen during summer, Payerne hosts now nearly the entire fleet of Swiss Air Force's Jet Aircraft. Our Hornets flew in two waves each day, catapulting eight F/A-18 C/D's in the air during only some few minutes and mostly two together - a rare sight normally.
