Hello all
I recently had the opportunity for a day cruise aboard the USS Essex (LHD-2) and took several photos while on board. I'm wondering how to properly label them when I am submitting them for review here. We were at sea, but not in international airspace or anything, having never gone more than a few miles from shore, and having always been in the Puget Sound close to the Port of Seattle. Should I file them in the "carrier deck" section, and should I say something to the effect of "Off Airport - Seattle" when I submit them? I've submitted a few already, and this is what I have done, but I can go back and edit them if you wish me to do something different. Here's one example of what I am talking about. This was taken while we were out at sea, from the bridge of the Essex. Thank you for your guidance. Aaron |

Yes, Off-Airport - Seattle would be correct. If it's on an aircraft carrier, it belongs in the Carrier Decks category, and of course Helicopters, in this case.

As in this case this aircraft(H-60) is tied-down in position using chains. Or it is spotted for flight operations.
