I'm trying to understand if the main subject is centered on this photo...
Please, screeners, can you help me? http://www.airfighters.com/photo/129849/M/Switzerland-Air-Force/McDonnell-Douglas-F-A-18C-Hornet/J-5019/ |

I'm not a Screener, but I think in this picture the sun on one of the Rocks is very artistic/important to the photo and a correct centered picture whould loose it's flair.

Looking at the composition of the picture the aircraft is not considered thus off center that it had to be rejected. Considerations might have been different if it were a static or taxiway shot.

@Joop: I did not understand your first sentence?
And regarding the original question my first thoughts were "oh well, there are many many more photos that would give more doubts regarding a "centered subject" than the one shot discussed here..." Andreas Regards |

@joop: The shadow areas not involved in the main object are not fundamental for the scene. A little bit of scissors on PS should have worked fine. I've had rejected pictures of flying planes (not taxiing or static) for less difference in centering.
