G'day All,
Just wondering whether there is any special method needed to post thumbnails from Airfighters on facebook? I tried the text supplied here but when I put that in, it just comes up as the same text; "<script language="javascript" src="http://www.airfighters.com/120111.js" type="text/javascript"></script>" which, when you click n it, goes to the thumbnail I want, that you then have to click on again to get to the page I originally wanted. Any advice? Cheers, Motty. |

Hi Motty,
When you post the URL of the photo, Facebook should include the thumbnail automatically but it has not been working properly lately. Facebook made some changes and broke it. Hopefully they realize it and will fix it soon. -Ray |

Thanks Ray,
I wish they would fix it then. It looks like a good way to share some of my photos from the DB here, on facebook. Cheers, Motty. |

Well, the way you want to do it above, using the JavaScript version will never work on Facebook or any similar platform. It was meant to be embedded in an html page on the photographer's website or blog .
To link to a particular photo, simply paste the URL of the photo where you want it to appear and see if Facebook will insert the thumbnail. Otherwise, the link to that particular photo will work fine. -Ray |

For some reason, when I post the URL link to the page / photo I want, it gives a cropped thumbnail of another photo, not the one I'm linking to.
Bugger, I'd like to be able to post the thumbnails on FB, not just the text-link. Thanks anyway. Cheers, Motty. |

Yup, that's the bug I was talking about.
