I would like to reorganize some of my Photo Albums by Bureau Number or Serial Number starting with first built through the last delivered. Is this possible? If not, can we make it possible?
Cheers,
Dave

No, photos go into Photo Albums in the order they were added. Photos in the database can be sorted by a particular type, sub-type, photographer, date added, etc. etc. as you can see in the drop-down list on the search form. You can combine those results with more info from the Cross Search pop-up to get even more precise results. I will see about adding sorting by Registration number and Construction number as soon as I can.

Happy to report that sorting by Registration Number and Construction Number has been added to the search engine as well as individual Photo Albums. Ask and you shall receive. :wink

Ray, I love the ability to organize my albums by serial number. However, it appears I have to do it each time I visit the album. I'd like to default set each of my albums. How is this possible?
Cheers,
Dave

Hi Dave,
That is not possible. The version just implemented allows anyone to sort them as needed. Also, after you sort them, the URL will change, so if you link from another site or forum, the link will display the "sorted" version.

Thanks Ray. I've figured it out and consider it a great improvement.
