Sad news to report about a C-17 crash at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska on July 28th. Unfortunately, all 4 crew members perished. Rest in peace. The cause of the crash is yet unknown, but it happened very shortly after take off. You can read more about it here:

Shannon, you can insert photos in Forum posts by uploading them first to the "My Files" section. The link is at the top. In that section, first create a folder, for example: Forum Pics. Then select that folder from the drop down when browsing to upload a photo. Once the photo(s) has been uploaded, you can insert it in the Forum post by clicking on "My files" from the bottom left of the text area. This will open a pop-up to your files section. Then you can find that photo and click on the small icon to the right of the file name to automatically insert the photo in the post. Click on the green icon to insert a thumbnail, that is automatically linked to the large version, or, if the photo is small enough, click on the blue icon to insert the full-size image in the forum post.

Give it a try. It might take a few tries, but it's not that hard. Let me know if you have any questions.

My sympathies go out to the families of my brother C-17 crewmembers. It is heartbreaking to hear of such a loss. We log thousands of hours in C-17s, but we rarely think of an ending like this. I am happy to hear that the airshow will go on as planned.
