I have been an airplane nut since a little kid.(About 60+ yrs ago). I entered the Air Force out of
high school and stayed for 22 years. My "collecting" of aviation pictures has been off and on since the early 60s. I'm strictly an amateur photographer, my equipment being a 20 year old Minolta 35mm SLR, a 35mm wide angle and a 75-200mm zoom. The history of any given plane is my main interest. To look at a picture and wonder what stories could that plane tell!
This is a great site with some pretty high standards. It is good to be part of the "gang"
