Hi Everyone,
The wait is finally over. I'd like to introduce you all to www.airlinerdb.com. The new airliner photo sister site to airfighters.com. That site will focus on civilian aircraft and helicopters only. Anything military will stay at airfighters.com.

Since you're all registered here, you are automatically a member at airlinerdb.com. No need to register again. The same username and password will work there. The crew and a few selected photographers have uploaded a few photos there for your viewing pleasure. The rest is up to you guys.

At this point I would say the site is about 95% complete as I'll be making some slight changes, adding new sections and content over the next few days. Check it out and I hope you like it. Please help spread the word about the new site by telling a friend or two. Enjoy!

P.S. If you're not seeing a new button at the top for the new site, please click Refresh a couple of times to load the new button.

I'm not a civil photographer, but i wish you all good luck with the new site and hopefully it will be much bigger in the future then too commercial a.net. With keeping both sides separated you made the best choice IMHO. Now they both can grow, each with their own public ::2thumbs_grin}

Kind regards,

Thank everyone, I really appreciate the kind words and positive attitude. As always, your support is greatly appreciated.

Yes, the colors do look familiar, but a side by side comparison will show that is is actually much darker, and had to be that way as going back and forth between airlinerdb and airfighters had to be easy on the eyes. I think it makes the photos stand out a lot better. Blue and gray are the "in" colors at the moment, and I definitely didn't want to make it gray. I will probably still be fine-tuning the colors and layout a bit in the days and weeks to come.

Cheers to great photos, great discussions, lots of fun, and more importantly, a friendly space for all. Happy uploading everyone!
